Your hail claim, handled end to end

Summit works with every major carrier every single day. You make one phone call — we document the damage, file the supplements and settle the paperwork.

1 · Open the claim

Call your carrier or use their app and report hail damage. It falls under comprehensive coverage, so it is not an at-fault accident and typically does not raise your rate. Save your claim number.

2 · Free Summit inspection

We map every panel under striped LED reading boards, count the dents and size them. You get a written, insurance-formatted assessment the same day — mobile or at our Denver shop.

3 · Adjuster review & supplement

The adjuster writes their assessment. If they missed damage (they usually do), we file a photo-documented supplement directly with your carrier. You do not negotiate anything.

4 · Repair & quality control

Certified technicians perform paintless dent repair, roof or glass work as approved. Every vehicle goes through a final reading-board inspection before it is released.

5 · Pick up & payment

You pay your deductible — ask about deductible assistance — and we settle the balance with the carrier. Rental coordination is complimentary while we work.

Claims questions, answered

Do I have to use the shop my insurance recommends?

No. In Colorado you choose your own repair facility. Carriers can suggest a shop but cannot require one, and Summit is recognized by every major carrier.

Will a hail claim raise my premium?

Hail is a comprehensive, no-fault claim. Individual rates are rarely affected, though a region-wide storm can influence renewal pricing for everyone in the area.

What is a deductible and what will I pay?

Your deductible is the fixed amount you owe on a covered claim — commonly $500 to $1,000. That is usually your entire out-of-pocket cost, and we offer deductible assistance on qualifying repairs.

How long do I have to file?

Most Colorado policies allow one year from the date of loss, but sooner is better. Damage is easier to attribute to a specific storm when you file promptly.

What is a supplement?

A revised assessment submitted when the original missed damage. It is a routine, expected part of hail claims — not a dispute — and carriers approve them regularly.

What if my car is declared a total loss?

If repair cost approaches the vehicle's value the carrier may total it. We review those numbers with you first — PDR often keeps a car well under the total-loss threshold.
